David’s strong business acumen has been present in his career from the very start. He has spent over thirty years in the commercial printing industry, working with both large companies and family-owned businesses. David joined family-owned CMI in 1988, and became President in 1995. He successfully led the sale of CMI to Consolidated Graphics, a NYSE company and one of North America’s leading commercial printing companies, in 2014.
In 2015, David became a founding partner of Dréim Capital with Jeff Sharfstein and Mark Giesen.
David graduated from the University of Texas at Austin, with a BBA and a Masters in Professional Accounting and became a Certified Public Accountant in 1998. A strong supporter of education, David is a member of the Providence St. Mel School board of trustees. He is also a member of the Chicago Chapter of The Young Presidents’ Organization.
